User password

Type here so called user password to protect (encrypt) the files stored in the SPLOT archive. The encrypted files are accessible only by the users, who know this password. The maximum length of this password is 260 characters. If the password is masked, you must retype it for verification.

Please note that this applies only to newly added files or to files which replace previous files in archive. For other files already stored in the archive the encryption status remains unchanged.
