PDF Security

With the PDF security enabled you can setup several permissions of the final document.

These permissions are:

viewing (via User Password),
printing,
modifying,
extracting,
annotating / form filling.

To enable the PDF security you must first enter so called Owner Password. Without this password the PDF security cannot be established. This password is used to change any existing security settings in the final document.

The viewing security is affected by entering so called User Password. Without it the document can be viewed by anyone. The user password cannot be set without the owner password (see above).

The remaining options which you can set in the PDF security dialog are:

Security level
Mask passwords
Keep passwords
Permission options

Please note, that if the PDF security is enabled, you will be always asked for security passwords and options before the PDF document(s) will be created.
