Print to File

If the Print to File check box is checked, a new dialog appears after you press OK and asks for the name of the file to which the print output should be sent. A file created in this way will print properly only on the printer for which it was generated - it is a device-dependent file, not a metafile.

Notice: Some printer drivers do not allow to use this option, i.e. they always open its own ‘File Save’ dialog and so they ignore output file instructed by the calling application (i.e. SPLOT).
